This is the fastest and most assured way of registering your pet. Simply log on to www.identibase.com or use the Register Your Pet link on the homepage, complete the online registration form and we will email and post your documents to you.
By Post
Your vet or implanter will give you a form to complete and return to us in the envelope provided, we will then register your pet on the identibase® Pet Database and post your documents to you.
As you would expect posted forms can incur a delay in registration however identichip® has an efficient “Back Track” system where the microchip is registered to the implanting practice at the time of delivery so the microchip is traceable to your pet at all times.
Keeping us up to date…
It is important to keep your contact details up to date so that you can be contacted immediately. Note: for dog keepers, this is now a legal requirement. If your details or your pet’s details have changed, please let us know so that we can amend your record on identibase® and ensure the data we hold is accurate and as up to date as possible.
Simply log on to your account and follow the simple instructions. If you are an identibase® plan member you will need to upgrade to identibase® plus or identibase® premium. There is a one-off cost to join either plan, however this is for the full lifetime of your pet, and you can make unlimited amends to your details.
